  2. Nothing to see here. Nothing to worry about. We have our best minds in charge of the treasury and the Fed. Best minds! When they said they could no more run out money to print than a carpenter could run out of inches or a stadium could run out points, that was just … metaphorical. Yeah, so they had to eliminate a couple of skeptics who said things like “inches of what?” or “stadiums don’t give out point” – it’s not like getting rid of people is a big deal to them.

    • Nor did I find anything.

      It appears that many trades are already being done in Uan and Rubles, so this is not a big deal, really.

      I doubt that the Saudis will Suddenly switch, and most of their wealth is in dollars and a sudden major change would negatively impact their bank accounts.

    Let’s see, almost half the dollars in existence (T-bills etc.) are overseas.

    Almost instantly folks sell them quick before they lose even more value.

    Don’t need a “World Reserve Currency” Quartermaster, History shows that is the exception created by a Dominate Empire and it fails as the Empire collapses.

    Might want to look up Afghanistan, Ukraine and the Hothi’s shooting at the US Navy for details.

    Inflation is too many dollars chasing that can of pork and beans. All rushing home once the word gets around that the Petro dollar is truly dead. We HAVE Pissed in the House of Saud’s breakfast many times. And Arabs don’t forgive, they get revenge. Russia and Saud are looking like good buddies in the past three (Biden) years.

    • The Saudi’s treated us like a business deal. We protect the kingdom and they drive tent stakes around the (worthless) dollar. Biden went and shit all over the whole situation and the Saudi’s said ” fuck you and pound sand up your feeble ass”. The Biden camp has fucked us like a tied-up dog.

    • Oh, and expect the results of this come up to speed about the time Donald Trump recites the oath of office next January.

    • We use primarily oil from the Americas, meaning Mexico and PETROBAS. Been a while so I might be off some. Europe relies on the Saudis and world price of oil depends on their cartel. OBTW, due to our environmental regs, lots of our oil from the ground gets shipped to refineries outside the US, refined and then shipped back. Oh, and our national reserves are depleted, that is on Biden. But really, we’ve been ensuring we are not energy independent for decades even though we could be.
