    Had to think about it because I haven’t used Roman Numerals in years.
    Thank God you didn’t ask about furlongs, rods or chains. I have trouble keeping those straight.

    • Just to satisfy my curiosity, I looked it up:
      1 mile = 8 furlongs
      1 furlong = 10 chains
      1 chain = 4 rods
      1 rod = 16.5 feet
      Hence, there are 320 rods in a mile.

      All of which I will forget tomorrow.
