  1. Well, they don’t put pockets in shrouds and there is no point in having the best gravestone in the cemetery, is there? So buy the stuff if you can make use of it.

  2. From what I have read, Ryobi comes off of the same assembly lines in China.
    May not be as sexy as the red tools, but my ugly little green tools have never let me down. I’ve made me a shit load of money with them.

    • Everything Ryobi I’ve touched has made my life miserable, from printing presses to weed eaters.

  3. The old Radio Shack stereos back in the 70s were built off the same schematic as some high quality stereo systems,, using lower quality parts.
    They contracted the manufacturers to build their stuff.
    Extrapolate as you will.
    I have some Craftsman battery powered tools I’ve had more than ten years.
    Still bustin bolts out, still drilling holes.

  4. We used Milwaukee tools at the boat building plant for years but the last 10 yrs the repair cost on them just keeps going up. Switches & gear boxes are crap. We use DeWalt now & the cost to repair is less than half of Milwaukee.
