Dad used to say that if you look far enough back in a family tree, you’re going to find a horse thief.
And if you look far enough, you will find you are related to Adam, the First Man!

Define irony:
Researching your family tree to find that part of the English side burned, raped, pillaged and robbed their money from France; another part burned, raped, pillaged and robbed from France….. only to settle in the same part of France the English part of your family robbed from later on.
