Awesome. Another gayer and stupider version of a wheel that was already invented eons ago…courtesy of today’s woke idiot generation.
Let’s see, what size crew was needed to man the sailing vessel shown? What size of crew is needed to man a cargo ship? How long does it take for a sailing vessel to get across the Pacific, given that most of the junk we buy these days comes from East Asia? How long does it take for a cargo ship to do the same trip? How much tonnage can a sailing vessel haul? Same question for the cargo ship?
I don’t know, but it seems pretty obvious to me why we use cargo ships instead of sailing vessels. But, then again, I’m not a Demoncrat/Communist.
Number of crew in a Panamax ship (the largest that can fit in the Panama Canal) is around 20. And carries about 58,000 tons of cargo.
The number of crew members on the largest sailed ships before they disappeared was around 30. And there were gas, diesel and steam engines to assist in sail management and steering and such. And carried about 4000 tons max of cargo.
Yeah…
They only need a crew of one (Filthie) and six cases of beans for a cross-Pacific route.
Soon they’ll discover if they want to make a hamburger that tastes like hamburger they can use hamburger.
Saw the legit article on LinkedIn and put in a comment that they needed to go look up the very complex and surprising etymology of the term “Sailor”.
Here’s some fun music:

They think soy worked.
