Contemplate this when I go under the knife today.

*UPDATE* I was being over melodramatic this morning… I went under the knife, but it was to excise 3 small squamous cell cancer nodes, two from my left arm and one on my right arm. The two on my left arm were about a 1/2 inch in diameter and 3/4 inch in depth and the right was about a 1/4 in in diameter and depth. So, technically I was under the knife and didn’t mean to upset a few of you. Bear Claw called me just as I got out of the dermatologist office worried sick I was having major surgery. If that was the case I would have mentioned it on the blog to let y’all know I was going to be out of it for awhile. I have to worry about these CA nodes as I am from Northern European descent and we Swedes and Irishmen don’t see a lot of sun and with me in the outdoors all the time, well, it was bound to happen.

  2. I think we can safely assume he didn’t fall, and accidentally land his ass on a flashlight.

    Hope all goes well.

  3. My last dermatologist visit, the very sweet Asian lady doctor looked at my back and said, hmmm, that one looks a little funny, might need to remove it. So of course I start thinking surgery, scheduling another appointment, that sort of thing. While those thoughts are running thru my head, behind my back she picks up a little squirt bottle of liquid N2, puts a few drops of the mole, and then scoops it off with a sharpened spoon thing. Like in 5 seconds. Done! she announces, then charges me several hundred dollars. Whatever, she’s good and my wife likes her.

  4. Stay healthy and out of hospitals people.

My brother a couple weeks ago – broken pelvis 7 day stay and surgery, half a million bucks, helicopter ride $71,000.00. It’s bullshit but the medical lobby and obummer care gave us that
