This first one reminds me of the Hawaiian sound when I was a child in the fifties. Southing.
I remember going to the roller skating rink in plainview texas and skating to the first one. Brings back good memories.
I think (?!) the first was “Sleep Walking”. A favorite to slow dance to at the Saturday night, El Cajon (So. Cai.) Police sponsored, high school gymnasium dances, ’66-’69.
Was how I discovered what girls felt and smelled like. Very heady experience!
I’ve been hooked ever since.
My red headed, big assed, wasp wasted, slavic, Viking, girl friend (married her anyway) still brings those same feelings tobay. Together 49 years. I’m a blessed, guy!
It was just Sleep Walk, no -ing. I didn’t know that, my wife said that as soon as it started. I just knew the melody.
Thanks Sig, high school was a LONG time ago. I get a little choked up for “the good ole days”. Inevitably, triggered by the old music.
Just a guitar with a slide bar rotated 80 degrees along the X-axis. Still sounds as good as the ones in the 60’s
My nervous system prefers the old style.
