what temper ? it is rolled steel plate that they make like that. it is hot rolled I think.
Expanded metal comes both ways, from both hot and cold rolled plate. It really doesn’t make any difference which you use to grill over. That’s not what it’s designed for. Your trailer’s tailgate will be junk before long. Grilling meat is not what it’s designed for.
