  1. On the ’72 or thereabouts turning the corner, that was a good color on that body style. I had a ’72 short bed 4×4 painted dark green with a white top and miss that thing a lot.

    • Yes it is, it clearly states that oln the hood front.
That Cederq guy is always seeing if you’re paying attention!

One thing I found when rebuilding 55-59 Chebbies is that the running gear, AND most of the windows are interchangable with Buicks and Oldsmobiles! Saved me a buttload on parts, especially windshields! Everybody would overlook them in the wrecking yards, quite a few guys never DID figure out where I was coming up with intact windshields without going to a glass shop…

      • I did a post last week, Old Truck Tuesday and placed a rusted old boat in it and nobody said anything… This kind of boat, like a fishing trawler is the truck of the sea. I know Olds and Buicks and Pontaics are not Chebbies, but are a GM product and I like them so I place them in Chevy corner… I thought you would like that 57 hot rod…

    • I forgot to put in the Olds… it may say Chevy, but I am inclusive, Buicks, Olds, Pontiacs, Cads, GMs any of the GMC brands All have equal weight and are welcome…

  2. I and my brother drove a mist green 55 like the second pic in high school. Wonder if that one is mist green. Yep, stupid. Sold it.

  3. Had a 57 Chevy panel with windows like that. Had a tailgate instead of doors.
Also had the NAPCO 4X4 conversion too.
Like an idiot , I let it get away from me…
