My favorite time of year up here, and we might get some snow this weekend. We’ve had elk bugling at night in the timber behind the house for a couple of weeks. The other night, I sat out on the back deck with my night scope and watched an old bull stumble along our back hill looking for trouble!

Went to the coast of Oregon for four days with just my brother, his son and me and had a great time, drank enough beer to float Queen Mary and played Cribbage till our fingers cramped, ever play drunk cribbage? had a camp fire every night. We had a boy’s weekend away and it was great!
