Be On The Lookout

I’ve had several people inquire if I know what’s going on with Big Country from The Intrepid Reporter.

You know, the big crazy guy,

That would be negatory.

I’m just as clueless as everybody else.

Given that the poor bastard seems to have enough drama for six people going on at all times, I can only hope that whatever is causing his radio silence is really, really, minor.

I left a message to let him know there is a bunch of concern and to call me.

Best I can do until he comes up for air.

I also haven’t seen any new posts from Brock over at Free North Carolina in several days.

God Bless him, I sincerely hope everything is OK with him too.

There is one more that had to make a hasty retreat that I know of very recently but that one is safe and you will hear about that later.

So please keep our fellow Patriots in your prayers as we wait to see what’s going on with them.

I would like to say one thing here.

I am DAMN proud to be considered a part of this community and I DO consider it to be an honor.

There have been too many times for me to count that I have seen us all come together to help someone out.

You should be damned proud of yourselves for that too.

Update: I arrived in a small town north and east of Roseburg, first night until early Monday morning I was awaken by noise in the back of my truck, looked and saw two butts in the door of my canopy. I went out with my shotgun and two meth losers were trying to get past my propane bottle to my boxes in the back. I ordered them at gun point to get on the ground or I would blow them away right then. The next door lady heard the yelling and saw me pointed down at these two losers and called the sheriffs which surprising came pretty fast. After the initial confusion the deputies got it sorted out but did not arrest the losers but only issued them a citation. They lived in the RV park where I was staying. The deputies knew these two and said I should not stay there as they had family there and close. They stayed until I got packed up and away from the area. I was down there by myself and no friends or family close. I couldn’t find a place nearby that was reasonably priced or wasn’t filled up. So, I headed back up to Grangeville and will stay here until an apartment opens up as I am on several waiting lists. On top of that the hospital I was going to have the kidney removed is requiring covid inoculations and that I won’t do. and thank you for your support and kind words. Cederq.

Whaddya Know, Someone Actually Gets It. Food Security Is National Security

Go read the whole thing, .

Americans deserve to have their leaders treat disruptions in our food system – from foreign interference to fires to shortages – with concern.

Gov. Kristi Noem

But for years now, foreign countries have been investing in our food supply chain, buying up the chemical and fertilizer companies that make American agriculture possible. Purchasing processing facilities, they have introduced vulnerability into the food supply chains Americans rely on to eat. Today, China is buying up millions of acres of land across the United States, following the same blueprint they have used in other countries for years.

Millions Of People Need To Take This Message To Heart

No joke, at the pace society is deteriorating, the millions of people standing around with their thumbs in their asses watching as if they think they are immune to what is coming more than likely aren’t going to be around when we come out the other side of this.

When it gets bad, some people just aren’t going to make it.

I just watched this video and I think a hell of a lot of people need to sit down and start paying attention to what this lady is saying.

Thank You Andrew!

When I got home Friday there was a box sitting next to my recliner.

After I got sat down I reached over to pull it closer to see what it was because I wasn’t expecting anything and it was so heavy it didn’t move, I did.

I had to put a bit more effort into it but I got it slid around to see where it had come from.

Andrew Such and Such.

The last name is quite unique and I remembered he had sent me a bunch of tooling a while back.

I also remembered him saying that when he got around to it, he would be sending some more.

That was well over a year ago.

My kinda guy.

Ain’t no hurry.

After I about hurt myself packing it off to the garage like Golem and his Precious, I got the box opened up and started unpacking it. Like the Energizer Bunny, it just kept going and going and going.

No wonder it was so heavy!

Wow.

Thank You!

I still can’t find his Email address so I will probably have to go get a Thank You card and send it to him so that he knows I got this stuff.

There are just ALL KINDS of goodies in there I can use.

There is this one, two piece thing however, that I have absolutely no clue as to what it is or what it is used for.

I’m hoping maybe one of you readers can help me out here.

This thing.

That odd shaped cut out tells me it is for a specific application on a specific piece of equipment.

Like I said, I have no clue.

Either way, I want to say Thank You again, there are still a whole BUNCH of useful items in there that I CAN use and they came to a good home.

TAKE MY MONEY! But Wait, There’s More!!

As soon as I get done eating dinner one of these is going to be headed my way.

I just have to do a quick search to find one first.

Before I was even done eating, my pal Irish hunted it down and left a link.

However, while I was looking to see if I could find one cheaper, I ran across THIS, from the same manufacturer.

Decisions, Decisions…

UPDATED;

I went with the bottom option.

And got two.

$25 each VS. $130 each.

They are way more portable on top of being way more affordable.

I may just get one of those bigger ones a bit later anyway though.

Just Because You Haven’t Been Spattered Yet…..

Doesn’t mean The Shit Isn’t Hitting The Fan.

The key take away,

By the end of this summer, food shortages, the energy crisis, and the realization that the NATO folly of picking an unwinnable proxy war with Russia along with even higher inflation will kill whatever vestiges of this historic bull market remains. That is when Wave 3 down, the big stock market crash that I have been referencing will occur probably some time between August and October.

That is when the real pain will begin.

I say the first of it is already happening in some places.

New Yorkers paying five bucks a gallon for gasoline may think things can’t get much worse — but in one California town people are shelling out nearly double that for a fill-up

A Chevron station in the coastal village of Mendocino about 175 miles north of San Francisco was charging $9.60 a gallon for regular on Friday afternoon.

That’s more than $3 a gallon above the state average of $6.30, and $4.78 higher than the national average of $4.82, according to AAA.

But individual stations throughout the country are charging more than the average, including one LA station that topped $8 on Friday.

Prices have also surged in New York, where the statewide average has hit $4.851, according to AAA – with the average in all boroughs except Staten Island topping $5 Saturday

$9.60 a gallon, and it’s not even Mid June yet, the typical start to the Summer Driving Season.

Food prices are slated to DOUBLE by Fall.

There is a lag between when the Farmers get hammered cost wise to put crops in the ground and when they hit the market.

“People don’t realize what’s fixing to hit them,” Texas farmer Lynn “Bugsy” Allen said. “They think it’s tough right now; you give it until October. Food prices are going to double.”

The 8.8 percent increase in food prices that Americans have already seen doesn’t take into account the dramatically higher costs that farmers are now experiencing. That’s because farmers pay upfront and only recoup their expenses at the point of sale, months later.

“Usually, what we see on the farm, the consumer doesn’t see for another 18 months,” said John Chester, a Tennessee farmer of corn, wheat, and soybeans. But with the severity of these cost increases, consumers could feel the effects much sooner, particularly if weather becomes a factor.

“Nothing that consumers are paying is going to bridge the gap for farmers right now,” according to Lorenda Overman, a North Carolina farmer who raises hogs and grows corn, soybeans, and sweet potatoes. She said the spike in fuel costs has put her farm into the red this year.

“The prices now have not hit the grocery stores yet,” but she expects they will start to by the end of summer.

We are fixing to go grocery shopping for the week here in a couple of hours and I will be looking at prices hard.

I already have been but The Wifely Unit just keeps saying there is nothing we can do about it and she will pay whatever it costs.

That’s because she has never been truly hungry before without knowing where the next meal is coming from.

Once that happens to you personally, YOU NEVER FORGET IT.

I have told her over and over and over again to buy more long term food NOW, because every time from here to God knows when that you go to the store, it is going to be more expensive.

Normalcy Bias is a silent killer people.

Normalcy Bias (noun) The phenomenon of disbelieving one’s situation when faced with grave and imminent danger and/or catastrophe. As in overfocusing on the actual phenomenon instead of taking evasive action, a state of paralysis.

A State Of Paralysis.

Disbelief, Inaction.

Millions of people just like my wife are about to get bitch slapped right up the side of the head.

There is no talking to her about it.

She is going to have to find out the hard way.

I am working around her as much as I can.

That’s all I can do.

There is going to be pain and suffering coming.

Get ready for it as best as you can.

My wife is actually a hell of a lot luckier than she will ever know.

I can be a resourceful little monkey when I have to be and I still retain a lot of knowledge about surviving Hard Times.

I’ve been hungry before and I won’t do it again as long as I have the strength to get out of bed and keep going.

Hard lessons are coming for her and millions of people like her though.
