I saw a this slide in camper on a pick up just the other day and looked up on the web. It’s base price, bare assed bones is $26,990… In the advertisement it used words like “Sustainable, Minimalist, Modular, Lean and Green.” I’ll say. 270 degree awning, $995, Removable camper Jacks, $1295, Roof Top tent, $5495, Two Burner Portable Cook Stove, $298, Fridge/Freezer, $1445, Stow a way Cassette Toilet, $995, Diesel Heater, $2495. There are other options available, equally expensive. I am not one to criticize too severely, but this is marketed to virtue signaling rich yuppies that have not a clue. The web site is www.ScoutCampers.com if ya want to take a gander.
1936 Hammer Blow Travel Trailer built by Hammer Blow Machine Manufacturing
Folks, Camping Saturday might be going on vacation itself as it is getting more difficult to find camping themes and unusual and different camping trailers and camping scenes as a lot of sites are putting in paywalls and limiting downloading of images off of their web sites. It may come back as an occasional posting. UPDATE: I have found a couple more sites to mine for camping pictures and older trailers and gear. So it will continue until I exhaust those and I will be looking for more sources.
