7 coulda been my grandpa he made the drive four times from Oklahoma growing up
11 was there 4 weeks ago but North Dakota
18 Needles hwy Custer State Park black hills South Dakota drove thru it as well
That factory camping job is a hoot! I assume all that stuff sorta retracts and sits under the boat, which is upside-down on top when it’s all folded up.
I’ve been to the Badlands only once. I need to get rich, so I can retire and travel.
2nd to last one that looks like a caboose. Neat idea but pulling it mist not be fun as it likely weights a lot compared to that car.
NOOOOOO!!!! DONT GET RID OF YER GRANDPARENTS!!!!!!
A couple of these feel more like “this is all we have left to our name” pics from the first Great Depression, rather than “camping” pics. Just saying.
Well, ya think about, they were camping…
#1: The last time I drove a Morris 1000 I spun it off the road backwards: my now BIL wasn’t impressed – it was his dad’s car!. Luckily our other passenger was able to borrow a tractor to tow it back onto the road . . .
AND! I wouldn’t fit into that caravan!
