Again, I’m wistful for times before I was born. Yeah, we lacked a lot of modern things that make our lives so much better, but there’s a lot to be said for simple things.
#1 is a doozy! And the one at Hollywood is lacking only one thing – a bicyclist riding too close behind – or any other tailgater, for that matter.
The clothing here is making me laugh. Virginia, 1941 – almost looks like bell bottoms, except the whole pant leg is huge. I think that was sorta the style in the late 70’s. George Patton would approve a couple of those.

Yeah, I gasped when I saw that ’57 Chebbie – at least they did a GOOD job extending the body lines and the chassis.
I’ll eventually forgive ’em.
