  1. I miss the smell of birch plywood in the old campers. The new ones just smell like plastic. 😛

    • Me too, my first trailer was a 16′ Terry teardrop with birch studs and plywood, almost like sleeping in a cedar chest box… I had a lot of fun with that little trailer. I had a cold water hand pump and a pull out compartment toilet that I only allowed someone(girlfriend) to use only late at night… It was a bear to clean out and from smelling if it was full. It had a full size bed and was comfy for two.

  2. Great job with the #’s and descriptions! Awesome image finds. It’s nice knowing the names and years, when sources provides it. Very Retro.

  3. I just picked up a used F-150 XLT 302A which was designed for towing these beauties. I was wondering around looking at the new/used campers earlier but none can compare to these.

  4. The ’85 MH looks VERY similar to my Beaver MH. Mine is more boxy and higher, and IMHO sturdier due to the Gillig bus chassis!
