Unless there’s some niche value, that Cushman might be getting down to the price I could afford, maybe.
The car conversions are cool, but then cutting up a vintage car like that … I’d rather see the original kept intact. Well, their car, time, and money.
Indeed. Like a lot of things though, those car conversions were probably rotted out wrecks that were given another life. Back then they were just old junkers.
‘Saw a ’67 Chevy Impala towing a 5TH WHEEL CAMPER TRAILER up in Eureka a bunch of years back! The hitch was on the ROOF! It sat on a stanchion going from the roof, down through the passenger compartment right between and behind the front seats, and connecting to the chassis!
I have seen picture’s of those and now I can’t seem to find those… figures. I don’t think I want a stanchion in the car or over the top of me if the trailer decides on a route different then the one I am on.
A lot of WTF’s and a couple Ohhhh’s in this bunch.
A gentle correction–that’s a ‘Toronado’, not ‘Tornado’.
Thank you, you are right, was kinda in a hurry and a deadline to get that out… will correct it.
The mill slab wood Blazer is inspirational, I could do that to my ’93 Suburban for about $30 worth of mill wood. The mill is only about 5 miles away. I’m sure the wife will be thrilled!
Last one is a mobile NSA vehicle. Shoot first, never ask questions.
The ‘KiraVan’ was built on a UniMog by a hollywood special-effects fellow.
Apparently, it never leaves the warehouse because it constantly breaks.
Apparently, the dang thing is for sale.
