It will be missed, but completely understandable. Sounds like a lot of searching work for you and blogging is supposed to be fun, not work.
Camping in my locale is sparse. Texas is mainly private property, so car camping in parks designed for it is it (unless you own or know someone with rural land you can reach. Upside – no crowds. Downside – up against the border, the threat of illegal foot traffic is VERY high.). The beaches have possibilities.
I have enjoyed the pictures of yesteryear.- THANK YOU for them.
I schedule these post a couple of week or so in advance and since then have found a couple of sources of camping pictures and older camping rigs as I am an persistent old codger and much like a rat terrier will not give up so easily. So it seems the Camping Saturday will continue for a while until those peter out and will continue to look for good subjects. The Old Train and Old truck I have no problems finding good sources.
You could make your stock last longer by making these posts shorter. I don’t particularly follow any of these ideas, just flip through the posts to see if anything jumps out at me.
Ten pics works for me as well as twenty.
For what it’s worth.
GMTA. I was just about to say that.
The camper posts are very enjoyable. Keep them coming as long as practical, but when it becomes like work, just find another way to amuse us ! Every series you do is a good one. We’re really not picky. Go with what amuses you, and we’ll follow…
I could post pics of me in different styles of Speedos….
eewwww
I’m REAL sure the clientele would drop off precipitously!
Don’t do it, lad.
While it might amuse you, it could cause the rest of irreparable harm.
So.
Mmmmm…no.
Thanks for all of the themes pic’s that you grace us with. Your efforts are appreciated.
There is no fucking way I’m believing that a Nash Metropolitan towed that camper.
No. It didn’t. A 90hp engine certainly couldn’t. My dad has a 1960 black and white. He enters it in car shows
Can somebody PLEASE elucidate just exactly WHY all those station wagons and trailers were on those flatbed railcars, please?
It’s a mystery to me, lads.
It’s all good Cederq. Great while it lasted. Seeing those coleman lanterns I chuckled. A freind yesterday texted me a pic of one, said I might need a light source soon. I texted him back. Yep, and 3 or 4 cans of white gas and lots of mantle spares. He laughed.
