Dude. It’s almost the new year. Get your eyes checked.

“Are you namin’ nuts?”
(Classic line from “Best in Show”)
November or December, who cares? There is no best by date on knowledge. Now I have to print this and post it at Home Depot for the ‘experts’ who work there.
What happens when you have to scratch your nuts?
Inquiring idiots want to know!
Use a hammer.
That picture of the wingnut looks wrong.
You must be married to do that
A lot of aircraft applications like the mate flanges on a Pratt & Whitney PT-6 turboprop engine use 12 point nuts. I still have my Snap On 12 point 1/4 drive swivel socket set out in the garage in my rollaway and they were the only thing that worked back in my A&P days. That set of 6 little sockets now retails for $348.75.
I remember the older Craftsman socket sets were ALL 12-pointer. This was in the 50’s (Yes, I was around then!), and somewhere in the 60’s or maybe even the 70’s the cheap bastards went with 6-point. ALL of my dad’s old sockets are 12-point. Love ’em!
In-freakin’- destructible…
Yeah, but 6 point don’t round nuts and bolts like a 12 pointer can do. You can apply more torque to a 6 pointer, so there…
You makes up for No-Nut November in December. And remembers to stay hydrated.
