  1. If they think they are going to get the protection of God and they think they are united in the Blood, but are in fact fighting to keep slavery, then they are SERIOUSLY deluded. There is no way God is going to bless that. They are actually not Christians at all.

      • Amen, and the Emancipation Proclamation didn’t ‘free’ anyone. It was about placating the abolitionists and agitating a group of people in a foreign country. “…agitating a group of people in a foreign country.” Hummm. Who have we seen do that repeatedly? The US government in the form of the CIA. And we wonder why the rest of the world hates our guts.

      • Slavery was the reason for the treason.

Who knows what motivated the rank and file non-slave owners but the elites who started and funded the war wanted to secede to perpetuate slavery, primarily for economic reasons. Read the Cornerstone Speech.

    • If you bring up slavery, then explain this. The CSA allowed slavery as it was the principal economic model that they had. The USA during the 1860s advocated for slavery, despite it not being the principal economic model of the majority of states. If you don’t believe that, then read the Emancipation Proclamation, wish actually enforces the concept of slavery in the north. So how can the north fight the South to eliminate slavery when it is a part of both countries? Then, what is wrong about slavery? It has been the law throughout the span of humans and is more prevalent today than 1860.

      • Are you saying there is nothing wrong with slavery and Jesus and his followers should support it?

    • Try looking up The Corwin Amendment.

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corwin_Amendment

Just think. All those thick as pigshit southerners rejected the amendment and said “we are going to fight for what you are freely offering”.

Or maybe they were objecting to something else?

The victors write the history of the war …

    pedo jhoe?
    🤔

i grew up in bama. rode bikes from about 10. all my adult life in south Texas.
all my bikes had either at least one flag at the rear of the seat, or (depending on bike nd my mood) a Large magnet of the flag on the rear wheel cover. above or below license plate. I also had a guy (outside Kerrville, Texas) make me a locally sourced cowhide leather tool bag, died and scooped out ( i forget the proper term) of the flag. that thing lasted over 40 years! it rode on the front handlebars of every bike I owned after getting it. sometime, I had the bag, 2 flag magnets ( one on front & other as described) and 2 real flags at the back of the seat.

never got any grief about it. even from 1%ers.

2015, I moved to SE Asia.
wear a flag sweatband, have a flag on one fridge and the Lonr Star on the other fridge. locals have no clue of course,
    but I by golly do.

wifey knows to keep the sweatband for a reminder,
and bury the others with me.

Last bike, is safe with my brother inthe Smokeys. with the flags in place.

    my siblings are largely, unreconstructed.

that website is a daily read for nearly 10 years. As is Tactical Hermit.
