  1. Fiat money, acts like fiat money. Funny how that manifests, eh?

    • And yet with over 50 years of irrefutable evidence, the policy persists. This, along with so many other self evident policy failures, is enough to lead me to the conclusion that humans are stupid, and never learn. Sure we’re clever and invented all kinds of interesting shit. But we keep failing on the fundamentals that are needed to underpin a successful society. 250 years (and we are there now) seems to be about the upper boundary before a do over is required.

  2. He didn’t have a choice. MIC spending since the 50s and welfare “guns and butter” spending under Johnson rendered gold convertability untenable.

    • Then he should’ve crashed it right then and there an then, and d just taken the medicine of fishing out all the bullshit. Instead, he laid the basis of what would become fsr greater economic ruin. Which we are now experiencing..

  3. Didn’t even have to watch the video to know what that’s about, 1913 didn’t help either

    • ps read the other day that our fiat buck is worth about 3 cents since 71.

At least that’s more cents than what a lot of Americans have.
