Revelations 15:2
And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.

I had a conversation early this evening with old friend of mine and he was talking about the rumors and talk about the use of nukes and how some people don’t truly fathom the horrors. The conversation worked around to Revelations and he used quotes from the beginning of the chapter and talk turned to how our government is wholly incapable of deterring an aggressor and responding to defense of our nation. That we discussed how the US would actually be the first to launch. My friend brought up a quote from Benjamin Rush, not unlike the one I posted. I had this one tucked away for use in a post. I got the chance to use it. Something he said triggered a remembrance of a chapter further into Revelation, 15:2 that tickled . I retrieved my old Bible, dusted off the cover and this is what I remembered of that passage. Sea of Glass. Glass is what is left over after a large and sustained nuclear blasts. What I find compelling is who is going to be standing as victors and listening to the sweet sounds of the harps of God? The quote from Benjamin Rush is prophetic in that we as strong, moral, men of faith and just moral men will have take back our country and government from those we know are wicked, evil, perverted, we have no other choice.

In my reply to Grumpy, I hit the thousand comment mark. I am top commentator on this blog with Igor second at 924 and Bear Claw Chris, 577, pulling hind teat at third. Phil is a paltry 420… I am a gabby mother fucker I will tell you that. Some body break my fingers! Phil and me have gotten over 9,800 comments on this version of the blog. I know I appreciate and Phil feels the same way of all you fine specimens of human detritus… commenting and either making an ass of yourself, or making sense and entertaining all of us and sharing useful information and sometimes sparks of brilliance and genius. I salute you!
