I stumbled across this over the weekend.

I was so impressed that I ordered two for work today. They aren’t cheap at about $65 each but if they work as advertised they will pay for themselves the first time you use them.

It saved this guy’s ass.

It will be at least a week before the ones I ordered at work show up.

There appears to be some confusion regarding this incident. Yes, I agree: it was a cluster fuck… They are not serving a warrant, though. They responded to an individual with multiple firearms making suicidal and homicidal threats. His mother called the cops on him. That’s all.

So the cops sent in a Swat team who broke down the door without identifying themselves and suffered 3 casualties because the guy shot at people breaking his door down.

Some welfare check eh? Who knows if any of these casualties were caused by Friendly Fire?

Now they are trying to charge him with pre-meditated murder amongst other things.

As far as I’m concerned, every damn anti gun law ever passed and especially the ones that the Gun Grabbers are doing their damndest to get passed right now are UnConstitutional. hence they are Null and Void.

Marbury v. Madison bitches.

In Marbury v. Madison, the Supreme Court declared that a law repugnant to the Constitution is void and has no binding effect. The Court held that the Constitution is the supreme law of the land and that any law that contradicts it is null and void. This decision established the principle of judicial review, which gives the Supreme Court the power to declare laws unconstitutional.

EDIT: I got the results back. I did have a small stroke, in the cerebrum, caudal to the hippocampus and cerebellum and a anaptyctic reaction to a medication. I have what looks like measles or small blister cow pox. It happened in a deep part of the brain. It was not near any of the motor cortex(no arm/leg involvement) or an ocular(eyes, occipital) involvement. As strokes go, I had a “lucky” small one, why it took a radiologist over 3 days to find it. I have already discovered some discrepancies in my short term memory and have started using techniques we used in the hospital for brain damaged and stroke patients.

Irish texted me after BearClaw got ahold of him, to let me know that CederQ had a medical emergency over the weekend.

First off, thanks to BearClaw and Irish both. These Blogs absolutely create communities.

As soon as I found out about it I called CederQ myself.

I’m no doctor so I’m not going to speculate so this is what I know.

CederQ had a spell Saturday while at his brother’s place and his brother took him to the emergency room.

He said he felt funny and the next thing he knew he was laying on his back on the floor staring up at his brother.

His brother said that he had been out for a while.

So they loaded him up in the truck and hauled him off to the ER.

Cat Scan, MRI and blood tests. He still doesn’t have the results to any of them.

He is home now and waiting on a report from the radiologist but he can’t see for shit. He says everything is real blurry.

The only way he found his phone was because BearClaw called him and he found it by following the ringing.

First thing out of his mouth when I called was “who is this?”.

So he says he can see large objects but can’t see the screen on his phone enough to read it. Same same for his computer I am assuming.

UPDATE;.

I just got off the phone with him and he says his vision has cleared up some and he can see a lot better now.

He says he’s not in any pain so that is good and that he is able to feed himself, also good.

He also says his brother comes around to check on him and take care of anything necessary.

That’s about all I know.

So please say a prayer for the ornery old cuss and let us all hope for the best. I will try and find some content and schedule some posts in the meantime so there isn’t a bunch of dead air here.

As the saying goes, you don’t what you’ve got till it’s gone, CederQ has been an invaluable help around here and has been quite prolific in his posting.

I will definitely feel his absence but my one and only concern is his well being.

Knowing him, he will be shit posting before we know it.

Cederq reminded me that the last time he had a medical emergency and went MIA for a week that it was Irish who tracked him down. Since I also found out about this recent episode from Irish, CederQ jokingly called him the clearing house for missing bloggers.

I hope you all had a chance to kick back and relax today.

I already know Rayburn didn’t, he sent me a video of a big 4 wheeler he’s has been rebuilding the engine on for a while now. Running like a top.

That guy amazes me.

I got my present yesterday.

The Wifely Unit got tired of my stubborn ass out here trying to keep up with the nightmare yardwork around this fucking joint and called my 3 kids behind my back.

They showed up with both Grandkids and I got a double bonus when my cousin from Texas showed up with my younger second cousin in tow!

Man did they go to town too.

They filled the back of my truck up 3 times with just yard debris. Trimming bushes, cutting down shit the wife wanted gone, raking and all kinds of shit.

It poured rain for about five minutes at one point but then it cleared up and the rain stayed away after that.

We couldn’t ask for more.

After the last load of brush and shit got hauled off, they filled the truck up again with a bunch of crap that needs to go to the dump, including that little chest freezer that died.

One of the two transfer stations around here is about a half a mile from where I work so I can just zip down there after I get off Monday.

Of course all I heard all day yesterday was “Sit Down Old Man” or words to that effect.

Drove me crazy but I still managed to get a few licks. The joke is on them though. I went out and mowed the lawn this morning and then dug my little mechanic’s stool on wheels and the pressure washer. I pressure washed the whole driveway and part of the sidewalk until I ran out of hose to stretch.

Sat down for that whole deal almost.

Still, that was more than enough. I’m pretty tired now and my legs gave out so that tells me I am done for today.
