I Am Going To Call It Last Gasp

Red Loctite on the spark plug threads and then hammer them home with an impact gun?
Those plugs will be in there just like they were part of the original casting process.

He’s under there somewhere I’m sure.
They are getting hammered up in the North East.
Everybody stay warm and stay safe.

Critical secondary issues can arise unexpectedly.

How convenient for him he has a note from his Mommy.

Last Updated Thursday, January 27, 2022 9:34AM ESTOTTAWA — Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says he is isolating at home after learning that he was exposed to someone who had tested positive for COVID-19.
The prime minister said in a tweet Thursday morning that he learned about the exposure the night before, after he had been at a news conference on Parliament Hill with three top ministers.
Trudeau’s office says the exposure happened after the event and that no staffer or minister in range of the prime minister are isolating.

Trudeau said the result of a rapid antigen test he took was negative, but he is following local public health rules and isolating for five days.
He said he will be working from home during that stretch.
This right after he so bravely stood up in front of the world and called a couple million Canadian citizens “A Small Fringe Minority”.
That so called fringe minority?
About that.
Yesterday I saw an estimate that if all of the trucks in that Convoy coming from all corners of Canada and now the U.S. were lined up end to end they would stretch all the way across the entire Province of Saskatchewan.
So now that they are starting to actually pull up at their final destination, Turd Boy runs and fucking hides like the Pussy everyone knows he is.
My hat is off to the Canucks man.
The message they are sending is unmistakable and the rest of the entire world is rooting them on.
That message?
BFYTW, eh?
Good On Ya Leafs.

Grab your ass with both hands and hold on tight.
THE AVERAGE PRICE OF A HOUSE WENT UP ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS IN ONE YEAR.
Absolute fucking insanity.
When that particular bubble pops there are going to be thousands of people who will suddenly find themselves upside down after this last year of intense house buying that caused this.
The part no one seems to get that is the really insidious aspect of this is that their property tax evaluations are going to reflect this insanity very quickly as there is one thing the government is really good at and that is sticking their hands in your pockets.
When the prices start coming back down to reality, not only are they going to be upside down in their mortgages, the government is going to be very slow as usual to drop their valuations so their property tax bills are going to be brutal.
It is so bad around here that even old two bedroom mobile homes in the parks are asking 150K at this point.
Stuff that was going for $85-$100 K one year ago.
Take this almost forty year old manufactured home for example.

Impressive, no?
Built in 1984.
In 2014 it was estimated to be worth $50,000.
Now take a look at this, even a year ago it was $100,000.

You can see the bubble being pumped up quite easily in that graph.
Let’s not forget the space rent, which has also gone through the roof around here over the past few years.
That has gotten so high that I have seen news stories about people on fixed incomes, who have paid off their mortgage and own the home, who are getting priced out by the rate increases.
Some space rentals around here have approached what it used to cost to rent an apartment in this area a few years ago.
So this Real Estate Bubble has had several trickle down effects.
I have literally been waiting for the bubble to pop in this area for at least eight or nine years but it just keeps getting bigger and bigger and bigger.
It literally defies belief.
I see it has finally started to taper off just recently but I still firmly believe it has a long ways to go before it finds the bottom again.
When it does, there are going to be a shit ton of mortgage defaults littering the market along with it.
Just like in 2009-2010.
Yeah yeah, before anyone corrects me, I mistakenly called the Z axis the X axis.
I have a hard time thinking, talking and trying to use my phone as a camera all at the same time.
If I had any Bubblegum it wouldn’t get done at all.
The dumb bitch is back spamming the joint.
Have some cheap entertainment on her behalf.
Heh, my good friend Irish sent this to me .
I waited to see if he was going to post it and then remembered he actually has class and standards.
Two things I stubbornly refuse to be encumbered by.
So without further adieu,
Kid Rock’s latest offereing,
WE THE PEOPLE.
LET’S GO BRANDON!
It’s obviously the documentation of experience.

H/T to Steve.

I have been eating Bacon Grease Milk Gravy literally my entire life.
My Granny taught me how to make it before I was ten years old.
This is a pretty quick video about how to make it.
A couple of things I would add here,
I like to really brown my roux, I prefer my gravy darker than most folks.
Depending on how many folks you are trying to feed, you can adjust this to make just enough for two people or double and even triple the amount of ingredients to make a bunch.
The one thing the young lady didn’t mention is that you have to be careful when you are stirring it after you have added the milk.
What you want to see to judge when it’s time to take it off the heat is when you scrape a fork across the bottom of the pan like you are trying to push it all to one side of the pan, when you can see the bottom of the pan and the gravy doesn’t rush back in like the tide to cover it back up, you are done.
The gravy will continue to thicken up after you turn off the heat and it will get so thick you can slice it with a knife if you cook it too long.
Thankfully all you have to do is add some more milk and stir the hell out of it again and it will thin back down.
Then add more salt and pepper to taste.
I also like lots of pepper in mine.
However, never try to add more flour if you think it’s too thin, the flour has to cook or it will taste like raw flour.
Just keep stirring it on low heat and it will thicken up.
You can add bits of bacon or sausage to it if you want but I like it just the way it is.
This stuff is THE BOMB poured over crispy hash browns.
Of course it’s main use is for Biscuits and Gravy.
My Grandmother kept a little tin soup can on the back of her stove and kept her bacon grease in it.
She could whip up a skillet full of gravy in literally minutes with zero advanced notice, 24/7.
That can was still on the back of her stove the day she died.
