The second one: it’s a perspective thing.
My favorite part about summer is when it’s over. Something about an overnight low of 80 with the air’s humidity about the same as the shallow end of a swimming pool is just a bit to oppressive for me.
I put up with summer to get the rest of the year. You put up with winter for the same reason.
