I’ve always referred to my morning cuppa joe as “starter fluid”. But the snarky reference is lost on most people. The joy of getting an old, cold and grumpy engine going with a spritz in the carburetor is an old, forgotten memory.
And RWT, chloroform is a close cousin that will at least stay liquid for a minute or so; one of the best solvents I’ve ever played with. “Super permanent” Sharpie ink will melt to nothing with it.
The series breaking bad main character was a chemist. He would have made millions he could keep if he synthesized coffee. Coffee is liquid gold.
