  1. There is a righteous and proper place in this world for tea, you uncultured swine.

I will tolerate no dissent or rude jokes about this important subject.

    • Remember when a bunch of American Patriots dumped a whole ship load of tea into Boston harbor which led to the adoption of coffee as the national drink of the USA and other countries and the kicking of the crown from the colonies?

      • Is that the way it went down, Nemo? I know that in that colonial period, coffee was taking off all over the world, even in Britain itself. Even their awful “gin houses” started serving it.

Fact is I’d love to borrow any Patriots you could spare and throw fuggin Justin Turdeau into the harbour…

  2. Just made a nice glass of iced tea with a little lemon & mint, Southern style, now out to the shop to accomplish nothing . Don’t miss the coffee at all anymore.

  3. It may be cliche, but “Embrace the healing power of AND!” As we discussed last night Cederq, I drink my pot-o-coffee in the morning. In the afternoons, it’s iced (black) tea in warm weather, green tea in colder times.

  4. I don’t mind Ice Tea with food at lunch or dinner, but coffee is for breakfast. It is clear we are not England. I have been in England several times and they cannot make good coffee.

    • Boy you are right there! I was assigned to the American Embassy and that is where I got the best coffee because they shipped it in from the states.

  5. You old timers need to get out a bit more!

We drink more coffee than tea, here in Blighty. Have done for the last few years.
Personally, I hardly drink tea, only when I turn up somewhere and I’m offered instant coffee. That shit ain’t right.

Love a good Columbian or Brazilian 3 or 4 strength for daily consumption, although Taylor & Harrogates “Lava Java”, with it’s strength 6, is filtered when i get up. Better than a bump of Columbia’s other famous export to get me going, imo.

Fuck Tea, Fuck Instant, and Fuck Joe Biden.

  6. Harrumph. I am an American, and I will eat and drink whatever pleases me. Harrumph.
    Stay safe
