off-topic, but I gotta ask if everone knows about the nationwide, including all mobile phones, emergency alert system test tomorrow at 2:20 EDT. I’ll be eating lunch in my car with the phone turned off. Normally, I listen to the radio, but I guess that’ll be turned off too.
Take the battery out.
And it’s at 2:04 ET.
I wish my phone had a removable battery. Always had that, up until the most recent one. It’s getting more difficult to find that as a feature. I am thinking of wrapping it in foil, or perhaps sticking it in a static bag.
I’m not surprised the time changed. I won’t be surprised if it changes yet again in the next 18 hours.
Put it in the microwave until Thursday. Take a vacation.
Microwave oven makes a perfect faraday cage.

My bride put her phone in the microwave and it rang just as pretty as you please. Dropped my phone in a metal gallon paint can, called it, went straight to voicemail. That was with just setting the lid on it, not even pressing it down tight.
