that I fully understand ! I hate all of the bullshit family drama. coming up on 8 years now myself. life is a lot better when you do not have assholes in your life. funny how that works out now isn’t it ?
and haven’t talked with a lot of my “family” in more than 10 years or more anyway
so, the sooner you leave assholes behind the better off you will be.
don’t miss any of the family drama either. and people wonder why I do not give out my phone number too. simple. leave me alone.
40 years for me but the same here. The thing is that when Dr.s look at me and see the healed broken nose, cracked teeth, split lip and eyebrow scars they know exactly what they are looking at. But I got away and have managed not to inflict the past on anyone else.
Trying to talk to people that haven’t “got it” yet is a lost cause and has been for decades.
The indoctrination and inability of people to see past the next election cycle, let alone remember what happened a mere two years ago is unsettling.
They don’t know how to think, or question anything that goes against their world view.
Combined with the electronic appendages they carry 24/7, it won’t be long before their attention span can be measured in mere seconds.
if that long. but when the “storm” does break, they be looking around like mad for someone to “save them”
just one problem though, they will be messy and loud when it does happen. and more than anything, will end up being in the way.
There is no “slowly” to it.
Cut the fuckers off right then and there no matter who it is.

The best advice an old fart gave me when I was young, dumb and…was to think about the five people you spend the most time with. They will guide your life and influence you more than anyone else.
Hence, avoid people that have even the potential to negatively affect your life. Walk away even if they have nice tits.
