“My man bun doesn’t fit under my brand new cowboy hat”
I mostly don’t know WTF is going on with Country music these days. I guess I’ve missed the Christian White Nationalist part. If that’s a reference to Jason Aldean, I guess I don’t follow. From comments I’ve read and heard, I figured modern country was dominated by over-produced squishy pop tunes, just done by people wearing cowboy outfits.
I’d rather listen to Bluegrass.
Country went Mainstream around the time of Rhinestone Cowboy. The new Country wasn’t. City-folk who wanted the attention and money, no attachment to God and the Land.
A lot of it is just twangy light rock. Rather listen to good Disco (of which there’s lots.)

“How can I miss you when you won’t go away!”
Sums it up.
