  1. Just got rid of my last parts car. Wifey finally won. Had seven at one time, got rid of them as I got rid of the cars they were the donor for. I tried to remember how many cars I have owned, and came up with 28.

  2. I lived in the Atlanta metro area and I drove an 04 Ranger. I keep the maintenance up and it has 147k miles on it. Before I move to a rural farming community where I needed a bigger truck and picked up a 16 F350. It does work well. The past 2 years I have put only 4k miles per year on the Ranger and about 16K on the F350. The Ranger has no re-sale value being 20 years old with the number of miles on it. It gets better mileage for the short runs to the hardware or auto parts stores than the diesel does.

  3. What I don’t understand is how my barely running cars communicated. When one broke down, they all did.

    • I don’t think it’s communication as much as jealousy. I’ve noticed when I spend too much time/money on one, the other two start competing for attention.
      Round and round and round…

      • I’m juggling an ’86 Toyota pick up, a ’93 Suburban, an 03 Hyundai and an ’04 Ford Focus, I feel yer pain. The ’74 F-350 is inert at this point.

  4. 22 counting the running one, oops 23, plus 3 mustangs and a 68 t_bird, and a ford 555 backhoe with a blown tranny seal. (not counting frames and pieces)
counting from my chair so I may have missed some, ah 60 F100 4X4 with a blown straight six. (24)

The boys have a few more, down the hill.

    • 3 of them are 70’s broncos And I forgot the two 60’s Broncs. They’re pretty rough though, so 27 coun… SHit 69 torino we just got running for my grandson who almost has his license. I lost count, it is many.

  5. My claim to used car (parts) consists of some NEW and some old parts for my ’85 taurus SHO, and I have my old original block and transmission – have you seen what it costs just to rebuild one head? OY!
