Them dirty SOB’s anyway.
I’ve had the same Gmail account for so long I can’t even remember, 15,20 years maybe?
The thing is, I don’t really use it much at all anymore.
I use Protonmail and have for the last 5 or 6 years. You can have your Gmail automatically forwarded to Protonmail so you don’t have to mess with old accounts and password hassles.
The problem there is that after a while, your Gmail account gets full and you have to go in and delete a bunch of stuff occasionally, otherwise you will start getting notifications that your Gmail account is full and they will start hammering you, trying to sell you more storage space.
Like I just had over TWENTY THREE THOUSAND emails in my Inbox!
In the past I have spent hours and hours going in and deleting 50 Emails at a whack and trust me when I say hours and hours.
I finally get sick and tired of the repetition and stop well short of getting anywhere near ten thousand.
Well no more of that crap.
I found a Youtube video that is less that two minutes long that shows you how to Mass Delete All Of Them!
It only takes a few seconds to do but depending on how many you have, it may take several minutes for Google to actually get in there and get rid of them but I am here to tell you this works. I just checked my Email Inbox a second ago and I went from 23,000+ to ONE!
So if this is something you would like to do, I will post the video below but be warned
IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING IN THERE THAT IS IMPORTANT AND YOU WANT TO SAVE THEN YOU NEED TO MOVE THEM FROM YOUR INBOX TO ANOTHER FOLDER!
This works for all your folders and you can clean out your Spam folder in seconds too.
So if this is something you are interested in doing, here you go.
Yer welcome!
I thought everybody knew this trick… I have been doing it for years. Especially as I have comment notification from here dump into my GMAIL SPAM folder, see guys what I think of y’all. It can climb into the thousands like Phil if I don’t regularly clean it.
Phil, I happened to go to a gmail acct the other day. Those bastards, replaced my Gmail recovery email with my proton mail address. I did not give it to them. I switched both gmail recovery email address back to the gmail addresses, gonna check it soon.
