I would do some sketchy shit for a stove like that.
I wish I had that stove. I loved cooking on one. Whar’s them cathead biscuits?
What time and where?
Is there enough coffee?

There are plenty of modern cookstoves to choose from. I prefer tbe amish cookstoves such as the Heco, Kitchen Queen, and Pioneer. https://woodstoves.net/cookstoves.htm
I had an uncle and aunt that had a cabin in Red River, NM. She preferred cooking on one of these instead of her gas stove. Good times.
Cooked on a proper appliance
GMTA, buddy.
I grew up with these type (wood-burning, coal burning) of stoves, and while they are a pain to fill and take care of, THEY DON’T BREAK!!
Cowboy Kent Rollins could feed a lotta hands, and the lovely Shannon, on that. Bigger’n ol’ Bertha.
We have a ‘Comstock Castle’ circa about 1905 in the kitchen. Still use it (cooking) periodically and also use it to heat the place from time to time. Staringly as time moves forward, we (us) seem to seek ‘the old ways’ around here. Life is good…
