A lot of talk these days, mostly from the left, about a looming new American Civil War.

Most of it is simply the neurotic ramblings of a particularly panty-bunched subsection of the upper crust left who fear — palpably fear — that having gone entirely too far in the last five years or so, they are headed for a date with catastrophe. They don’t fear the catastrophe, per se, as the left depends upon catastrophe to justify it’s existence.

  1. As an avid historian a lot of what this fine person just described if translated into Russian would sound like what THEY said about the Bolsheviks. Ask the Romanov’s how that ended please.

  2. Translated into Russian, I would say it comes out as “WTF did we just do?”.

    The “enemy” here is not “underestimated”: this is who they are. A little push back and they all recoil in a mass of quivering jelly, complaining about how they’ve been victimized. This is not your grandfather’s pack of revolutionaries — this is a materially-spoiled, physically weak, mentally-deficient gang of spoiled-rotten children led by aging hippies.

    Never a truer statement. Liberals have to clean up after catastrophes created by or made worse by conservatives. Hoover/depression Nixon/corruption Bush2/financial collapse and the Trumpfecta/corruption,pandemic,economic collapse
