  1. Just reproduce the original but with disc brakes all around, bring back the 327 ( EFI ) with a Muncie M-22 or 4L60E.

No need to go any further.

    • There’s no way fat, UAW-owned GM would ever do something so creative as this. This is an AI generated fever-dream that will never see the light of day, sadly.

  2. So far I’ve seen 3 other versions all claiming to be “official” 2025 Belaires, which tells me it’s all hype.

    • Once the video got to the interior and I saw that stark steering wheel with no air-bag (required by law now), I knew this was a fake.

    • Not only the AI imagery, but that fake-ass narrator’s voice is annoying af.
Annd at the 5:11 mark, note that the driver’s side has dual exhaust, while the passenger side has to struggle along with only one.

  3. I went broke just watching the video.

No reason to change the original in any way. Just make ’em again and everyone will be happy. Need a reason? Remember how badly they ruined the retro Mustang – it looked great the first few years, then they designers didn’t have to pass a drug test and started trying to make it look futuristic.

  4. A modernized 57 Belaire with a LT4 and 6 speed would sell like crazy for a couple of years. Then a modernized 72 C-10 stepside with the same drivetrain. Then a 75 Caddy Eldorado convertible, same drivetrain.

  5. Pretty looking car. These things might sell like hot cakes if people can afford them. Projected pricing is in the $40-$60K range.

I had to laugh at the projected fuel efficiency which is listed as mid 20’s in the article I found which listed the specs with a 500HP blown fuel injected V8 under the hood? Yah NO.

  6. I hate them goobers. I would LOVE to get a “modern” ’57, my dad had a ’55 wagon (265 V8), I used to race a ’55 two-door post (327), and I owned two ’57s (one was a two door 283 and the other was a 4 door 283).

Still love ’em today, can’t really afford to get one in any kind of decent shape. I guess I’ll stick with my ’89 3.0 liter Taurus SHO. It’s paid for.
